Astrology looks at the cycles of the sun, moon and planets in our solar system and how they affect life on earth   We will learn about the pattern through your own birth chart which will be drawn up for you - it is a diagram of the sun, moon and planets as they appeared at the time and place of your birth   The astrological symbols represent the specific feelings, experiences and circumstances, which can be very revealing.

Current Affairs Discussions

This group is for anyone who enjoys a lively discussion and has an interest in what is happening here and abroad.    The purpose is to discuss current affairs; to look at the position today, explain the history and events that have led up to this and to consider the reporting of the news in the media.

French Conversation

We will meet to discuss matters of mutual interest and obviously you will need a basic vocabulary and be able to use the past tense.  We do not give formal instruction, but you will be assured of a warm welcome and encouragement in putting your French into practice.
